Procurement Associate – Technology Spend Management

About the role

We are seeking a driven and detail‑oriented Procurement Associate with experience in technology spend management. The role will manage vendor relationships, negotiate IT contracts and optimise technology‑related spend across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with technology vendors, develop performance and risk management frameworks, and monitor compliance with contracts, SLAs and KPIs.
• Lead contract negotiations and renewals for software, hardware, cloud services, telecom and consulting, coordinating with legal, compliance and finance and maintaining a central repository of agreements.
• Analyse IT spending patterns, support budgeting and forecasting, track software license usage and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Ensure procurement practices meet regulatory, legal and internal policy requirements, conduct vendor due diligence, support audit requests and manage risk assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or contract management, preferably in IT or technology services.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SaaS, IaaS, PaaS licensing models and cloud services.
• Experience with vendor management tools such as SAP Ariba, Coupa or ServiceNow.
• Proficiency in Excel and spend analytics tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and p2p processes.
