Process Expert Credit Management & Collection

About the role

The Global Process Expert – Credit Management & Collection provides in‑depth process, technical and business expertise to support Finance Service Delivery Units across Invoice‑to‑Cash operations worldwide. The role designs, governs, standardises and continuously improves global credit management and collection processes, ensuring end‑to‑end consistency, operational excellence and alignment with BASF’s enterprise architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design and govern credit management and collection processes at a global level.
• Standardise and continuously improve end‑to‑end Invoice‑to‑Cash workflows.
• Support service transitions by ensuring adherence to global standards.
• Drive automation initiatives and finance transformation projects, including SAP S/4HANA migrations.
• Provide expert guidance to Service Delivery Units on process, technical and business matters.
• Monitor process performance and implement corrective actions to achieve operational excellence.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of credit management and collection processes.
• Experience supporting finance service delivery and process governance.
• Familiarity with large‑scale ERP transformations, especially SAP S/4HANA.
