Process Associate – Contracts Administration (Junior)

About the role

KONE is looking for a Process Associate (or Junior Process Associate) to support contracts administration within its Business Services team in Ambattur, Chennai. You will ensure contract data is accurately captured, validated and maintained in line with KONE’s global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic contract validation and data verification activities, entering contract information into business systems.
• Review contract requests for completeness, maintain proper documentation and audit trails.
• Support contract lifecycle activities, coordinate internally to resolve incomplete requests, and adhere to SLA timelines.
• Maintain contract trackers, dashboards and status reports, escalating discrepancies when required.
• Use AI‑enabled productivity tools to summarize information, draft updates and improve efficiency while validating outputs.
• Identify repetitive manual tasks and propose automation or standardisation opportunities.
• Collaborate with process experts and automation teams, clearly describing business requirements and expected outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 1–4 years of experience in contract administration, operations, shared services or related functions.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and a process‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Basic reporting and data entry skills.
• Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
• Awareness of workflow automation concepts and tools like Power Automate, Power Apps and Power BI.
• Ability to write clear prompts for AI‑driven summarisation and data structuring.
