Principal - Wholesale Roaming Billing, Settlement & Standards

About the role

Skylo is looking for a senior specialist to own the settlement architecture, wholesale pricing constructs, clearing strategy and external standards work for NTN roaming at scale. You will act as the deep subject‑matter expert turning complex standards and numbering dependencies into clean operating models.

Key responsibilities

• Architect routing logic: design and maintain accurate CDR, mediation, TAP/RAP/BCE, and reconciliation flows across every relevant TADIG × PLMN × DCH/FCH combination.
• Prevent leakage: define routing and control logic so data usage reaches the correct clearing partner and settlement entity without leakage or duplication.
• Oversee reconciliation: manage daily reconciliation cadence, control totals, dispute handling, root‑cause analysis and executive reporting.
• Design pricing frameworks: build NTN wholesale pricing mechanisms—including activation, usage and tiering constructs—and map them to feasible billing methods.
• Manage clearing vendors: handle technical execution strategy for DCH/FCH partners, clearing setups, NRTRDE controls and ongoing service performance.
• Industry representation: represent Skylo in active GSMA working groups such as WSOLU, IDSBCE, BCE and NRG NTN.
• Cross‑functional partnering: collaborate with Finance, Product, BSS, Network, Legal and Sales to convert commercial intent into implementable, auditable settlement processes.

Required profile

• 8+ years of hands‑on experience in wholesale roaming billing, network settlement, clearing or revenue assurance.
• Advanced technical knowledge of TAP3, RAP, BCE, CDR/mediation flows, DCH/FCH operations and dispute management.
• Deep understanding of PLMN, TADIG, IMSI network numbering and roaming identities.
• Proven experience developing wholesale pricing or financial models and converting them into operational billing controls.
• Solid professional credibility representing an operator or technology provider inside GSMA or comparable standards forums.
