Principal Security Technologist – Attack Surface Reduction

About the role

Join MiniMed’s Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune as a Principal Security Technologist focused on Attack Surface Reduction. You will lead enterprise‑wide initiatives to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate cybersecurity risks across on‑premise, cloud, application and third‑party environments, helping the organization protect patients and innovate faster.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and governance of scalable processes, standards and guidelines for continuous attack surface management.
• Drive risk‑based remediation, improve asset visibility and reduce exploitable exposure across the enterprise.
• Design, document and configure system specifications that meet architecture, business and compliance requirements.
• Plan system deployments, ensuring hardware and software meet security and compliance standards.
• Evaluate hardware‑software interfaces, establish system design parameters and ensure performance, compatibility and capacity planning.
• Identify functional or performance deficiencies and implement corrective changes.

Required profile

• Deep technical expertise in cybersecurity, attack surface management and vulnerability reduction.
• Proven strategic leadership and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Strong understanding of enterprise, cloud, application and third‑party security landscapes.
• Experience in developing and enforcing security standards and processes.
