Principal Product Manager

About the role

We’re looking for a seasoned product manager to join Ethos’s Consumer Product team, which builds a delightful digital experience for insurance shoppers—from onboarding to helping families identify coverage needs and purchase the right policies.

Key responsibilities

• Build experiences that reach millions of online insurance shoppers, delivering measurable and visible impact.
• Own the end‑to‑end user journey, using consumer insights and data to improve conversion rates across the funnel.
• Educate consumers on the importance of life insurance and guide them to the appropriate coverage.
• Remove friction and motivate users to complete applications, boosting conversion.
• Design an accessible, simple, and delightful experience anchored on accessibility.
• Operate with high autonomy, taking ownership of product outcomes.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in the technology industry.
• 5+ years as a product manager in a high‑growth tech company, building products that serve millions of consumers.
• Proven ability to generate, test, and refine hypotheses using data, user insights, and market trends.
• Strong analytical orientation with experience in self‑serve analytics; SQL and Amplitude experience is a plus.
• Track record of solving hard customer problems and driving business growth.
