Principal Engineer – NVH Development

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive vehicle-level NVH targets and benchmarking activities.
• Lead NVH development across BIW, powertrain, driveline, suspension, chassis, steering, mounts, seals, and sound package systems.
• Conduct NVH analysis, testing, validation, and root cause investigations.
• Drive prototype evaluations and implement design countermeasures to achieve NVH targets.
• Lead Transfer Path Analysis (TPA), Modal Analysis, and vehicle refinement activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Design, CAE, Testing, Manufacturing, and Quality.

Required profile

• 16+ years of experience in automotive NVH development.
• Proven experience leading NVH activities from concept to production.
• BE / M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Design Engineering or a related discipline.

Required skills

• Vehicle acoustics, vibration analysis and vehicle refinement.
• Hands‑on experience with Transfer Path Analysis (TPA), Modal Analysis, Sound Power Measurement and NVH testing.
• Experience in powertrain, chassis, suspension and BIW NVH development.
• Proficiency with LMS Test.Lab, Müller‑BBM, MATLAB, ANSYS and HyperWorks (or equivalent NVH tools).
