Principal Designer – BIM Bridges

About the role

Join AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team in Gurugram as a Principal Designer – BIM Bridges. You will provide technical leadership on global, high‑profile infrastructure projects, driving structural BIM modeling, detailing and coordination to deliver constructible solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex structural and bridge modeling and detailing using Revit and AutoCAD for global infrastructure projects.
• Develop and manage 3D bridge and structural models from engineering drawings, ensuring constructability and compliance with AECOM and ISO 19650 standards.
• Perform Navisworks clash detection, coordinate multidisciplinary models, and drive resolution of clashes.
• Maintain Revit families, templates, shared parameters and project‑specific modeling standards.
• Identify and implement BIM process improvements using Dynamo, Revit API or Python scripts.

Required profile

• Recognized Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering modelling and detailing, especially bridges.
• Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
