Principal Architect – Lead Design & Delivery

About the role

We are looking for an accomplished Principal Architect to join our Architecture team in Gurgaon, India. This senior position will drive architectural excellence, mentor talented professionals, and shape innovative design solutions for complex, global projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive architectural strategies and design methodologies for complex projects.
• Prepare, review, and approve detailed architectural drawings and technical documentation, ensuring the highest quality standards.
• Perform advanced technical assignments across schedules and budgets, applying rigorous analytical problem‑solving.
• Coordinate technical and administrative activities across multiple disciplines, fostering transparent communication.
• Mentor, train, and evaluate architectural and design/drafting personnel, supporting their professional growth.
• Review and approve conceptual designs, providing strategic guidance and innovative recommendations.
• Maintain effective liaison with design, drafting, and engineering teams to integrate architectural vision with technical execution.
• Assist in developing and implementing new architectural methods, techniques, and best practices.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate complex architectural concepts to clients.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards throughout all project phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture.
• 8–12 years of professional experience in architecture, design, and project delivery.
• Proven experience leading architectural projects and managing cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with healthcare, commercial, or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• International project exposure (e.g., Middle East, US, UK) is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability in budget management, resource allocation, and project scheduling.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Strong expertise in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of MicroStation.
• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital design tools.
• Experience with architectural visualization and presentation software.
