Principal Analyst – Global Digital Risk & Data Protection

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Data Protection Specialist with 5–6 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity, data protection, and security operations. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, global environment and is passionate about protecting enterprise data, reducing insider risk, and strengthening security resilience across modern cloud and hybrid ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls, policies, and operational processes.
• Operate and support security technologies such as DLP solutions, Microsoft Purview, Exchange Online Protection, CASB, and encryption tools.
• Coordinate mitigation of data protection incidents, investigate alerts, and drive closure within SLAs.
• Lead end‑to‑end phishing simulation programs, including threat analysis, campaign design, execution, and reporting.
• Support deployment and management of enterprise encryption controls across devices, email, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Partner with global teams to understand requirements, run workshops, and promote a security‑first culture.

Required profile

• BE/B Tech/MCA in IT, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in Data Protection, DLP, security operations, or information security.
• Proven experience working in large, dynamic, globally distributed environments.

Required skills

• DLP platforms (Microsoft Purview, Netskope, Sentinel One, Mimecast).
• Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solutions.
• Proxy and URL‑filtering technologies.
• Email security and endpoint security tools.
• Encryption methodologies and data security controls.
• AI/ML use cases applied to security.
• HTML/CSS, scripting, automation, and phishing simulation tools.
• Microsoft 365 security stack.
