About the role

Oakridge International School, Bengaluru is seeking a passionate Primary Homeroom Teacher to deliver the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP). You will create an inquiry‑based, inclusive classroom where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging IB PYP lessons aligned with the curriculum.
• Foster inquiry‑based, student‑centered learning experiences.
• Monitor, record and report student progress regularly.
• Maintain a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, parents and school leadership to support holistic student development.
• Participate in school events, professional development sessions and IB initiatives.
• Uphold safeguarding, wellbeing and all school policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a relevant subject.
• Experience with IB PYP or in an international school is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, classroom management and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
