Pre-Primary Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Pre‑Primary Teacher to join CHIREC International School in Hyderabad. You will work with children aged 3‑6 years, fostering their academic, social and emotional foundations in a vibrant, international learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging classroom where children feel supported.
• Manage behaviour using positive reinforcement and clear expectations.
• Develop children’s social skills such as sharing, turn‑taking, following instructions and emotional regulation.
• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate lessons that promote language, motor, creative, social and basic numeracy development.
• Monitor health and hygiene standards, follow safety protocols and keep the classroom clean.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, special‑education staff and school counsellors to support each child’s progress.

Required profile

• Experience or training in early childhood education, preferably with children aged 3‑6.
• Ability to create a nurturing, inclusive atmosphere that encourages confidence and self‑expression.
• Strong communication skills with children, parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to the school’s mission of developing open‑minded, ethical and caring individuals.

Required skills

• Lesson planning and implementation for early years curriculum.
• Positive behaviour management techniques.
• Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards in a classroom setting.
