PR & Communications Manager (Architecture & Design)

About the role

The PR & Communications Manager will shape and execute Morphogenesis’s communications strategy, enhancing its visibility and reputation within the architecture and design sector. This role blends strategic oversight with hands‑on execution, covering media relations, award submissions, publications, and storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive PR and communications plan aligned with the firm’s brand and business goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with editors, journalists, and media partners across architecture, design, and lifestyle outlets.
• Manage the annual awards calendar, prepare high‑quality submissions, and track outcomes.
• Collaborate with design teams to create compelling project narratives, case studies, and firm profiles for various channels.
• Coordinate internal information flow for project announcements, press approvals, and award entries.
• Track and analyse media coverage, maintaining a press archive and performance reports.
• Oversee external PR agencies, photographers, and consultants as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Architecture or a related field.
• 6–8 years of PR and communications experience, preferably in architecture, design or creative industries.
• Proven track record of securing media coverage and winning industry awards.
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling abilities for both professional and public audiences.
• Excellent project‑management and interpersonal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with PR tools and media databases.
