Political Communication Manager (PR) – Lead Strategic Campaigns

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Political Communication Manager to shape narratives, manage media relations, and lead crisis communication for high‑profile political campaigns and public‑affairs initiatives. The role requires strong political acumen, excellent writing abilities, and the capacity to operate under pressure while safeguarding the reputation of political leaders and organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive political communication strategies aligned with campaign objectives.
• Craft messaging, speeches, press releases, policy briefs, and opinion pieces.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, TV channels, and digital platforms.
• Design integrated communication campaigns across print, digital, TV, radio, and social media.
• Lead crisis communication planning, response strategy, and rapid‑response execution.
• Monitor news cycles, public opinion, and political developments to identify opportunities and threats.
• Collaborate with research, analytics, digital, and campaign teams for data‑driven strategies.
• Prepare spokespersons for media briefings, interviews, debates, and public appearances.
• Ensure consistent messaging across all channels and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Mentor communication executives and oversee timely execution of communication plans.

Required profile

• 3–8 years of experience in political communication, public affairs, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a Tier‑1 institute (preferred).
• Proven ability to manage high‑pressure situations and crisis communication.
• Strong analytical mindset and data‑driven decision making.
