Political Communication Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Political Communication Manager to design and implement communication strategies for political leaders, candidates, and campaigns. The role involves crafting compelling messages, managing media relations, and ensuring a unified narrative across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute political communication strategies aligned with campaign objectives.
• Create speeches, press releases, talking points, articles, and social‑media content.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media houses, influencers, and political stakeholders.
• Monitor political news, public sentiment, media coverage, and opposition narratives.
• Support crisis communication and rapid‑response messaging during sensitive situations.
• Coordinate with research, social media, creative, video, and field teams for consistent messaging.
• Plan communications for rallies, press conferences, interviews, and other political events.
• Prepare daily updates, media reports, and strategic inputs for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Political Science, Public Relations, Public Policy, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in political consulting, election campaigns, political parties, media, public affairs, or strategic communication.
• Strong understanding of politics, current affairs, and political communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight campaign deadlines.
