Policy Issuance & Data Capture Manager

About the role

The Policy Issuance & Data Capture Manager will oversee the end‑to‑end data capture process for new business policies, ensuring adherence to service level agreements, quality standards and turnaround times. The role works closely with internal teams and external vendors to maintain accurate policy documentation for Individual and Health Life lines.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor process adherence, SLA and quality for the data capture team and assigned vendors.
• Maintain turnaround times (TAT) and supervise data accuracy throughout the capture cycle.
• Generate daily MIS reports on errors, pending cases and attendance of outsourced team members.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure all activities are completed within defined TAT.
• Update SOPs, business rules and documentation regularly to reflect current standards.
• Manage vendor performance, including penalty reporting and initiatives to reduce recurring errors.
• Oversee dispatch and delivery of policy documents to locations with limited courier services.
• Train temporary staff during volume spikes and handle high‑volume month‑end periods.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations or process monitoring within insurance or financial services.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret error data and drive corrective actions.
• Excellent coordination skills to manage internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Ability to work under pressure during peak volumes and adapt to unpredictable circumstances.
• Effective communication skills for training, reporting and stakeholder updates.
