Podcast Producer & Studio Head (Founding Team)

About the role

We are launching a brand‑new podcast and content studio that will serve three distinct brands, including India’s leading exam‑prep publisher and a sports management company. As the first employee, you will design, build, and run the studio from the ground up, shaping its creative direction and operational workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Design and set up a multi‑camera, audio, and lighting studio tailored to budget constraints.
• Direct every shoot: frame guests, monitor sound, and create a comfortable on‑set environment.
• Develop episode concepts, research guests, write questions, and act as a mini‑showrunner.
• Maintain the content calendar across YouTube and Instagram for all three brands.
• Collaborate directly with the founder on brand strategy and content planning.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of hands‑on production experience with podcasts, YouTube interviews, or short‑form video.
• Demonstrated personal hustle – a self‑started channel, freelance portfolio, or independent projects.
• Practical knowledge of cameras, audio interfaces/microphones, and budget lighting setups.
• Bonus: video editing, motion‑graphics skills, or a strong interest in the Indian podcast scene.
