Plumbing Draftsman – Freshers Welcome

About the role

Siddhivinayak MEP Consultants is looking for a detail‑oriented Plumbing Draftsman to create accurate drawings for plumbing and public health engineering services across residential, commercial and industrial projects. The role will work closely with plumbing engineers and coordinate with other MEP disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed plumbing layout drawings, drainage layouts, water supply systems, rainwater harvesting, and external utility networks.
• Develop shop drawings and coordinated drawings with other services such as electrical and HVAC.
• Create schematic diagrams and water‑supply/soil‑waste stack riser diagrams.
• Generate BOQ support drawings and as‑built drawings.
• Incorporate engineers’ inputs, site mark‑ups, and revisions into the drawings.
• Follow project CAD standards and maintain layer discipline.
• Ensure drawings are completed and submitted on schedule.
• Coordinate with project managers and site engineers for drawing clarifications.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Draftsmanship or a related field.
• Minimum 6 months experience in an MEP consultancy or construction firm (freshers welcome).
• Ability to read and interpret design inputs and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Solid understanding of plumbing systems and relevant codes.
