Plumbing Design Engineer – Hybrid (Ahmedabad)

About the role

We are seeking a Plumbing Design Engineer to create and develop plumbing systems for US‑based commercial and residential projects. The role is based in Ahmedabad with a hybrid work model, offering the chance to work on international assignments while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design plumbing layouts for domestic water, sanitary, storm and vent systems.
• Prepare riser diagrams, piping layouts and detailed construction documentation.
• Coordinate design efforts with HVAC, electrical and fire‑protection disciplines.
• Review client mark‑ups, incorporate revisions and ensure compliance with US plumbing codes.
• Deliver design packages within project schedules while maintaining quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in plumbing design, preferably on US projects.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit MEP.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with fire‑protection design (advantageous).
