Plumber / Multi‑Skilled Operative

About the role

Penn Contracting is seeking a qualified and experienced plumber to join its on‑site teams across multiple construction projects. The role involves delivering both reactive and planned plumbing repairs, installations and maintenance to a high standard, while also supporting general building tasks when plumbing work is not required.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out reactive plumbing repairs and resolve urgent issues on site.
• Perform planned installations of pipework, fixtures and drainage systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance of plumbing infrastructure to ensure reliability.
• Assist the wider site crew with general building and labouring duties during downtime.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment in line with health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Qualified plumber with a recognised certification.
• Proven experience working on construction sites or similar environments.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
