Platform Lead – Commercetools

About the role

We are seeking a Platform Lead for Commercetools to drive the evolution of Nespresso’s global digital commerce ecosystem. Reporting to the eCommerce Technology leadership, you will act as the subject‑matter expert for the commercetools platform that powers direct‑to‑consumer sales across 40 markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the strategic direction of the commercetools platform, partnering with the vendor to influence roadmap and assess new capabilities.
• Ensure platform health, reliability, security and compliance by collaborating with architecture, engineering and operations teams.
• Accelerate adoption through documentation, training, best‑practice guidance and improving developer experience.
• Conduct regular alignment sessions with commercetools, manage upgrade and compliance plans, and monitor platform health with reliability engineering.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in digital commerce or platform leadership.
• Hands‑on experience leading commercetools implementations and driving platform adoption.
• Strong understanding of scalability, reliability, security and compliance principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in business English.
