Plant Operations Manager

About the role

The Plant Operations Manager is a full‑time, on‑site position in the Pune Division, responsible for overseeing daily plant operations to ensure safe, efficient and reliable production. The role includes planning and monitoring workflows, managing resources, coordinating maintenance schedules and guaranteeing compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise plant staff and promote a culture of safety, quality and accountability.
• Optimize equipment performance and implement reliability and TPM initiatives.
• Manage operational budgets and control production costs.
• Prepare regular reports on production output, downtime, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement and adopt new technologies aligned with sustainability goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in plant operations management, production planning, resource allocation and workflow optimisation.
• Knowledge of lubrication reliability, oil purification, filtration systems and industrial maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with TPM, reliability‑centred maintenance, Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret operational data and implement corrective actions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
