Plant Manager – Corrugated Box Manufacturing

About the role

The Plant Manager will lead all shop‑floor activities at our corrugated box manufacturing facility in Sanand. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure production meets customer schedules while maintaining quality, safety, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations, including corrugation, printing, cutting, slotting, and stitching/gluing processes.
• Plan and monitor production against orders, delivery timelines, and performance targets.
• Manage manpower allocation across production departments and supervise team leads.
• Control inventory of paper, adhesive, ink, stitching material and other consumables.
• Ensure quality control of raw materials and finished boxes.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, Stores, Dispatch, and Accounts teams.
• Monitor machine efficiency, wastage, and overall productivity.
• Schedule regular maintenance and address breakdowns promptly.
• Maintain production records, daily reports, and compliance with safety procedures.
• Train, guide, and motivate production staff.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in corrugated box, packaging, or related manufacturing.
• Proven ability to manage full plant operations and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Strong focus on quality, safety, and cost‑effective production.
