Plant HR Manager – Operations, Compliance & Industrial Relations

About the role

The Plant HR Manager will lead all human resources functions for a textile manufacturing facility in Coimbatore. This senior position focuses on operations, statutory compliance, and industrial relations, ensuring a productive and legally compliant work environment.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end recruitment for plant employees, workmen, engineers and staff
• Statutory compliance with the Factories Act, PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, CLRA, etc.
• Industrial relations and union management
• Labour inspections and liaison with government authorities
• Payroll coordination, attendance and leave management
• Contract labour management and disciplinary actions
• Employee grievance handling and domestic enquiries
• HR documentation, factory audits and welfare activities
• HR MIS reporting and budget control

Required profile

• 10–15 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of labour law and statutory compliance
• Expertise in industrial relations and union management
• Proven ability to manage payroll, HR operations and factory administration
• Fluent in Tamil (native language) and proficient in English
