Planon Consultant – IWMS Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Planon Consultant to design, configure, and maintain solutions on the Planon platform, supporting our Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS). The role combines technical development with a deep understanding of facilities, real‑estate, and maintenance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure and maintain Planon applications, forms, workflows and business rules.
• Create custom reports, dashboards and data views using Planon’s reporting tools.
• Perform system configuration including field definitions, action buttons, layouts and personalisations.
• Troubleshoot functional and technical issues within the Planon environment.
• Build and maintain integrations with ERP, HR, IoT/BMS and ticketing systems via Planon Connect, APIs or web services.
• Support upgrades, patches and version migrations, including regression testing.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Write and maintain technical documentation, configuration specs and integration designs.
• Execute data migration, cleansing and quality checks.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for Planon incidents and change requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience configuring and developing on the Planon platform.
• Strong understanding of Planon modules such as Real Estate, Space, Maintenance, Asset, Service Management or Sustainability.
• Experience with Planon Connect, Planon Web Services and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, XML) for customisations.
• Experience with Planon’s reporting engine (Field Definer, Report Manager, BIRT or similar).
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
