Planning & Estimation Engineer

About the role

The Planning & Estimation Engineer is responsible for maintaining accurate project data, tracking costs, and ensuring that project timelines and specifications are met. This role works closely with finance and project teams to align designs, budgets, and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Check and update the Company’s Site Master system daily to ensure 100% data accuracy.
• Maintain the DDE Document Manager on the intranet, reflecting any document changes.
• Submit weekly project update reports and ensure compliance with project timelines.
• Monitor project expenditures, update financial data in the Site Master, and submit Consumption Reports on time.
• Track budget adherence, provide monthly cost‑versus‑budget updates, and analyse variances.
• Coordinate with finance for accurate expense recording related to design changes and material adjustments.
• Collaborate with project teams to verify that designs meet project requirements.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in project BOM preparation, quantity surveying, and civil work audit.
• Diploma with 3 years experience or Bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Proven ability to prepare project timelines, documentation, and conduct physical verification of bills of quantities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate with vendors.

• Familiarity with ERP systems used in construction or design projects
