Placement Director – Higher Education

About the role

The Director of Placements will lead the placement function at ISMS Group of Institutions, shaping the career pathways of MBA, PGDM and International MBA students. This senior role is responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive placement strategy, forging strong industry partnerships, and delivering consistent, high‑quality placement outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a campus‑wide placement strategy aligned with institutional goals.
• Build and nurture relationships with corporate partners, recruiters and alumni networks.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end placement process, from student preparation to final offers.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative stakeholders to ensure alignment of curricula with market needs.
• Lead, mentor and manage the placement team, establishing clear processes and performance metrics.
• Represent the institution at industry events, job fairs and networking forums.

Required profile

• MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree from a reputed institution.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate relations, placements or HR leadership, preferably in B‑schools or professional education.
• Demonstrated track record of successful placement partnerships and strong industry network.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership abilities.
• Strategic thinker with a results‑driven mindset.
