About the role

MITTI Café is seeking a dedicated Pizza Chef to join its inclusive kitchen team in Bengaluru. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on preparing a variety of pizzas while supporting a welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and assemble toppings according to standardized recipes.
• Manage oven operation and ensure consistent cooking quality.
• Maintain high hygiene and food‑safety standards throughout the kitchen.
• Monitor and replenish pizza‑related inventory and assist with overall kitchen stock.
• Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff during peak service periods.
• Support training of team members, including adults with disabilities, on basic pizza preparation tasks.
• Keep workstations clean and comply with all safety regulations.

Required profile

• Strong skills in food preparation, especially pizza dough, sauces, and toppings.
• Knowledge of food‑and‑beverage operations, portion control, and basic inventory management.
• Commitment to hygiene, sanitisation, and proper food handling.
• Previous experience as a Pizza Chef or in a professional kitchen is preferred.
• Ability to work on‑site in Bengaluru in a fast‑paced environment.
• Respectful, inclusive attitude toward persons with disabilities and willingness to mentor teammates.
• Basic education in hospitality or culinary arts is an advantage but not mandatory.
