Piping & Space Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Piping & Space Manager to lead piping layout development, space management and utility distribution planning for semiconductor FAB and advanced technology facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review piping, equipment, plant room and utility distribution layouts for semiconductor FAB and associated facilities.
• Create Site Master Plans, General Arrangement drawings, sector layouts, utility corridors and pipe‑rack schemes.
• Perform space management and allocation for process utilities, mechanical, electrical, chemical and other building services.
• Plan and optimise utility highways, pipe racks, trenches, shafts and vertical routes considering constructability and maintenance access.
• Develop 2D and 3D piping models, manage LOD‑350+ models and conduct clash detection using Navisworks/ACC/BIM platforms.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary teams (process, mechanical, electrical, structural, architectural, HVAC, fire protection) to ensure effective space utilisation.
• Support BIM Execution Plans, modelling standards and participate in design and constructability reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in piping design, plant layout and space management, preferably in semiconductor FAB, life‑sciences or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of industrial utility systems and process support utilities.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead interdisciplinary coordination.
