Piping Engineer – Gas Pipeline Projects

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Piping Engineer to join our gas pipeline team. The successful candidate will work on live gas pipeline projects, ensuring safe and efficient execution of cutting, re‑routing, and tie‑in activities.
Key responsibilities
- Perform double stopple and hot tapping operations on live gas pipelines.
- Plan and execute steel pipeline cutting, re‑routing, and tie‑in welding tasks.
- Coordinate welding activities and oversee non‑destructive testing (NDT) procedures.
- Conduct hydro‑testing, commissioning, and safety compliance checks.
- Supervise site activities, manage work permits, and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
Required profile
- 4–6 years of experience in CGD / gas pipeline projects.
- Strong knowledge of ASME B31.8 and relevant API standards.
- Proven ability to work safely on live gas systems.
- Excellent site supervision and client coordination skills.
