About the role

Nord Anglia Education seeks a qualified Physics Teacher to deliver high‑quality instruction to Grades 9‑12 students (CBSE) at Oakridge International School in Hyderabad. The role focuses on academic excellence, scientific inquiry and holistic student development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement the CBSE Physics curriculum, ensuring full coverage and alignment.
• Deliver engaging, student‑centred lessons and assess learning outcomes.
• Track student performance, prepare them for board examinations and drive academic progress.
• Conduct laboratory practicals and promote scientific inquiry.
• Support student wellbeing, foster an inclusive environment and build positive parent partnerships.
• Collaborate with faculty, participate in professional development and integrate innovative digital learning practices.
• Maintain academic records, ensure compliance with school and CBSE requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s Degree in Physics and a mandatory B.Ed.
• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Physics in CBSE schools (Grades 9‑12).
• Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum, assessment framework and board examination requirements.
• Proven ability to design and deliver engaging Physics lessons and drive student achievement.
• Experience conducting laboratory practicals and fostering inquiry‑based learning.
• Excellent classroom management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Professional, ethical, student‑centred approach with a commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.
