PHP Developer – Full‑time On‑site in Kochi

About the role

We are looking for a motivated PHP Developer to join our team in Kochi on a full‑time, on‑site basis. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust server‑side applications and APIs that power our clients’ digital products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain PHP‑based web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, well‑documented code following best practices.
• Integrate front‑end components using HTML, CSS and JavaScript with back‑end logic.
• Collaborate with designers, QA engineers and other developers to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Participate in requirements analysis, code reviews, performance optimisation and production issue troubleshooting.
• Work with relational databases (MySQL), version control (Git) and basic Linux server environments.

Required profile

• Strong back‑end development experience with PHP, APIs and database‑driven applications.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming and design patterns.
• Front‑end development skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in software development fundamentals, debugging and code optimisation.
• Experience with MySQL, Git and basic Linux concepts.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams and communicate clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony and RESTful API development is a plus.
