Pharmacy Manager – In-House Hospital Pharmacy

About the role

The 100‑bed multi‑speciality hospital in Tezpur is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead its in‑house pharmacy. You will be responsible for ensuring continuous availability of medicines and consumables while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day pharmacy operations, including procurement, inventory control, and dispensing.
• Supervise pharmacy staff, manage duty rosters and workflow.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing, purchase, stores, finance and administration for seamless medication supply.
• Maintain accurate documentation of stock receipts, issues, returns, adjustments and controlled‑drug records.
• Monitor expiry dates, handle damaged or slow‑moving stock, and conduct regular physical audits.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, drug regulations, NABH standards and hospital SOPs.
• Support billing, pricing, indenting and reconciliation processes.

Required profile

• B.Pharm or M.Pharm (preferred) with valid Pharmacy Council registration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital or in‑house pharmacy management.
• Proven experience in multi‑speciality hospital pharmacy operations.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Pharmacy Management Software proficiency.
• Hospital Information System (HIS) usage.
