Pharmacovigilance Services Specialist

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Services Specialist to join its global drug safety team. The role focuses on managing safety case workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting senior medical review activities across multiple affiliates.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the affiliate mailbox, reconcile reports, and perform written follow‑up for both serious and non‑serious cases.
• Create, identify, and process individual case safety reports (ICSRs) in the safety database, including data entry, MedDRA coding, and submission.
• Ensure all case handling follows client guidelines and global regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with direct supervisors, peers, and client stakeholders to align on strategic safety objectives.
• Potentially work rotational shifts to support 24/7 safety operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy.
• 7–11 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety surveillance, or related fields.
• Proven ability to analyse moderately complex safety problems and propose solutions.
• Experience leading small teams or work‑streams in a client‑facing environment.
