Pharmacovigilance Analyst (GDPS)

About the role

The Pharmacovigilance Analyst (GDPS) supports Elanco’s global drug safety program by processing adverse event reports, ensuring data quality, and complying with regulatory timelines. You will work with a diverse team to safeguard animal health and contribute to the company’s mission of enriching life.

Key responsibilities

• Enter adverse event data into the PV database and perform seriousness and causality assessments.
• Validate data against source documents and call notes.
• Self‑review cases for completeness, correctness, and quality before regulatory submission.
• Identify and escalate processing issues that could delay submissions.
• Determine follow‑up information needs and ensure timely case closure.
• Meet productivity and quality standards while participating in team meetings.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations and timelines.
• Ability to manage multiple product cases and priorities.
• Demonstrated adaptability, commitment to high‑quality standards, and alignment with Elanco core values.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pharmacovigilance.
• Understanding of pharmacovigilance regulations and adverse event reporting.
• Proficiency with PV case processing databases.
