Pharmacist – Retail Pharmacy (Jaipur)

About the role

The Pharmacist will work on‑site at Dawaa Dost’s Jaipur pharmacy, dispensing prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and dispense prescriptions accurately.
• Advise customers on medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
• Answer health‑related queries within the scope of practice.
• Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Manage inventory, check expiry dates, organize stock and support store operations.
• Collaborate with team members and follow standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with a valid license and a pharmacy diploma or degree.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, prescription interpretation and drug interactions.
• Experience in pharmacy operations, including inventory management and record keeping.
• Attention to detail, reliability and adherence to regulatory and ethical standards.
• Basic computer literacy and comfort using digital tools.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Jaipur with flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.
• Prior retail or hospital pharmacy experience is an advantage.
