Pharmacist – Retail Pharmacy (Ahmedabad)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time, on‑site Pharmacist to join our Ahmedabad pharmacy. The role involves dispensing prescription and over‑the‑counter medications accurately, providing patient counseling, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and OTC medications accurately and verify prescriptions.
• Provide clear counseling on dosage, side effects, and safe use.
• Maintain proper storage conditions, manage inventory and check expiry dates.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Support customers with health‑related queries and document transactions.
• Handle billing and coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment.

Required profile

• Relevant pharmacy qualification (B.Pharm/D.Pharm) and valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations and treatment guidelines.
• Ability to dispense medications accurately, maintain records and comply with legal requirements.
• Excellent customer service skills, clear communication and professional patient counseling.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills and basic computer proficiency for billing and inventory systems.
• Willingness to work in shifts, stand for extended periods and collaborate with colleagues and healthcare providers.
