About the role

The pharmacy is seeking a qualified pharmacist or pharmacy staff member to dispense medications accurately, provide expert medication advice, and support patient care within the community. The role involves maintaining records, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions.
• Provide expert advice on safe and effective medication use to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of pharmaceutical transactions, patient profiles, and inventory.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Monitor patient medication regimens for contraindications, interactions, and side effects.
• Order and manage pharmaceutical supplies to keep the pharmacy well‑stocked.
• Ensure pharmacy operations comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide emergency pharmaceutical support when required.
• Participate in health promotion and disease prevention activities in the community.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in pharmaceutical science and practice.

Required profile

• B.Pharm or M.Pharm degree.
• General pharmacy department experience.
