Pharmacist – Online Pharmacy (0-2 yrs Experience)

About the role

Medivoy is seeking a pharmacist to join its Online Pharmacy team in Urapakkam, Chennai. The role involves reviewing customer‑uploaded prescriptions, validating medication details, and coordinating with partner pharmacies to ensure safe and compliant order fulfilment. This position is ideal for candidates with 0–2 years of pharmacy experience who are detail‑oriented and committed to patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify prescriptions uploaded through the Medivoy platform, checking medicine name, strength, dosage, frequency, quantity and duration.
• Identify unclear, incomplete, expired or potentially inappropriate prescriptions and escalate them as needed.
• Coordinate with customers or healthcare professionals for clarification and with partner pharmacies for order fulfilment.
• Maintain accurate records of prescription verification and order status, ensuring proper documentation.
• Follow pharmacy laws, regulations and Medivoy SOPs, maintaining patient confidentiality and supporting audits.

Required profile

• B.Pharm / D.Pharm from a recognized institution with valid registration to the State Pharmacy Council.
• 0–2 years of experience in retail, hospital, or online pharmacy settings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately read and interpret prescriptions.
• Good communication skills in Tamil and English.

• Proficiency with pharmacy/order‑management software.
• Basic computer and digital‑platform skills.
• Experience with online/e‑pharmacy operations and prescription verification.
