About the role

The pharmacy is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join the team in Kopar Khairane, Navi Mumbai. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive patient care, maintaining high quality standards, and ensuring efficient pharmacy operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate dispensing of medications with clear labeling and patient instructions.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels, store pharmaceuticals to minimize expiry, and conduct regular stock‑taking and drug audits.
• Negotiate drug purchase contracts to control costs and manage secure storage of narcotics and controlled substances.
• Act as liaison between nursing, medical staff, and patients regarding prescriptions, drug information, reactions, and complaints.
• Enter medication orders into dispensing software and maintain nurse unit stock lists.
• Uphold departmental policies, quality assurance programs, safety, and environmental standards.
• Maintain confidential documentation and support quality assurance/control activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor in Pharmacy or Diploma in Pharmacy.
• Adherence to specified dress code and ID card requirements.
• Willingness to work according to scheduled duty hours.
