Pharmacist

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and customer‑focused Pharmacist to join our Chennai team. The role involves supporting daily pharmacy operations, dispensing medicines accurately, managing inventory and delivering quality service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medicines in accordance with valid prescriptions and applicable regulations.
• Verify prescriptions and identify potential dispensing concerns.
• Guide customers on proper medication usage where appropriate.
• Manage medicine inventory and monitor expiry dates.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Support billing and pharmacy software operations.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals when required.
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow ethical pharmacy practices.

Required profile

• Hold a D.Pharm or B.Pharm qualification.
• Possess valid pharmacist registration with the appropriate pharmacy council.
• Open to freshers and experienced candidates.
• Demonstrate good communication and customer‑handling skills.
• Have basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn pharmacy software.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Be able to work on‑site in Chennai.
