Pharmacist

About the role

The Pharmacist will join Wellness Forever’s network of 24‑hour stores, providing professional pharmacy services to customers across western India. The role focuses on accurate dispensing, patient counselling, and ensuring regulatory compliance within a fast‑moving retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and verify prescription details.
• Interpret prescriptions, calculate dosages, and advise patients on side effects, drug interactions and proper use.
• Provide evidence‑based counselling in English and local languages.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels, manage cold‑chain storage, and oversee product expiry monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy council regulations, safety standards, and quality‑assurance procedures.

Required profile

• Valid pharmacy qualification (B.Pharm or D.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
• Current registration with the appropriate pharmacy council.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutic indications, and drug interaction principles.
• Excellent communication skills in English and regional languages.
• Commitment to ethical standards, regulatory compliance and patient safety.
• Prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred.
