Pharmacist – Fill and Dispense Medication Prescriptions

About the role

The pharmacist will be responsible for accurately filling and dispensing medication prescriptions and counseling patients on proper medication use. This role also involves ensuring patient safety by monitoring drug interactions and maintaining detailed records.

Key responsibilities

• Fill and dispense medication prescriptions according to healthcare provider instructions.
• Counsel patients on proper use, potential side effects, and answer treatment questions.
• Check for drug interactions and allergies to ensure safe medication use.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of dispensed medications and patient consultations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and pharmacy regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to continuously update knowledge and skills in pharmacy.
