Performance and Analytics Engineer

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a Performance and Analytics Engineer to join its global team in India. You will work on online performance monitoring and analytics solutions for the oil & gas and power sectors, applying thermodynamic principles and performance calculations to a variety of rotating equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and configure analytics and thermal performance software for multiple projects.
• Provide technical support during data collection, reviewing P&IDs, PFDs, and design data.
• Perform gap analysis, generate recommendations, and communicate findings to project teams.
• Utilize operational knowledge of gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, pumps, and auxiliary systems.
• Support condition monitoring, anomaly detection, and online monitoring of heavy machinery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 1‑4 years of experience in plant operations, performance engineering, or analytics software.
• Hands‑on experience with rotating equipment and thermal performance calculations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
