People Generalist

About the role

The People Generalist supports the full people agenda for H&M Group, ensuring smooth recruitment, onboarding, development and engagement processes. You will act as a trusted partner for employees and managers, using data‑driven insights to foster a fair and supportive workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Execute employee life‑cycle processes in line with group standards.
• Coordinate and implement people initiatives and projects across business units.
• Provide first‑line support for employee and labor relations inquiries.
• Drive employee engagement activities to boost satisfaction and productivity.
• Manage recruitment processes, including assessment centres and clear communication of timelines.
• Deliver onboarding for store management teams and follow‑up on training quality.
• Support performance management, development dialogues and succession planning for department managers and sales advisors.
• Analyze people metrics, prepare reports on headcount, turnover, training and hiring, and track KPI outcomes linked to a fair working environment.

• Ability to work independently while supporting multiple stakeholders.
