People & Culture Senior Specialist - Experience & Performance

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a People & Culture Senior Specialist – Experience & Performance to join the HR team in Pune, India. Reporting to the P&C XP Leader – India, you will partner with business leaders and regional HR functions to deliver employee support excellence and drive HR initiatives across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in senior management discussions, providing HR input for regional projects, long‑term planning and employee engagement initiatives.
• Advise business on workforce planning, reorganisations, M&A activities, bid processes and talent pipelining.
• Guide employee movements such as promotions and salary changes, ensuring timely execution.
• Support HR diligence, integration and transformation initiatives.
• Lead HR program evolution, project management for business HR initiatives and policy recommendations aligned with local legislation.
• Communicate policy updates to stakeholders and manage Tier‑2 escalations within defined SLAs.
• Create knowledge articles, update country HR manuals and identify opportunities for Tier‑0 expansion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or related field.
• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner with a talent‑focused mindset.
• Ability to balance hands‑on execution with strategic thinking.
• Strong stakeholder management, commercial acumen and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
