Payroll Enablement Advisor

About the role

The Payroll Enablement Advisor will join ANZ's Core Payroll team in Bengaluru, driving payroll enablement activities across the organization. You will monitor regulatory changes, advise on payroll system enhancements, and coordinate change initiatives while collaborating closely with Technology, Finance and other delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor external and internal changes impacting payroll, especially Indian tax and labour regulations, to ensure compliance.
• Manage payroll incidents by coordinating with Technology, Payroll and relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.
• Lead delivery of payroll fixes, system enhancements and change requests, minimizing operational disruption.
• Define, document and implement payroll change requirements aligned with business and regulatory needs.
• Perform release testing (UAT) for payroll system updates such as SuccessFactors Employee Central and ECP.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Tax, Benefits and external payroll vendors to drive initiatives.
• Support payroll operations through issue investigation, reconciliation and maintenance of process documentation and controls.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of experience in payroll operations, payroll systems or payroll transformation.
• Strong technical understanding of payroll delivery, payroll systems and the Indian payroll regulatory environment.
• Broad knowledge of payroll processes within financial services, including risk, change management, technology, data and vendor management.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams.
