Payment Fraud Analyst – Walk‑in Interview – Bangalore

About the role
The Payment Fraud Analyst will join Infosys BPM’s fraud detection team in Bangalore. The role focuses on identifying and mitigating cardholder and merchant fraud to protect the company’s financial assets. Candidates will work on real‑time transaction monitoring and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor merchant authorizations, deposits, refunds and alerts to detect high‑risk and fraudulent transactions.
- Validate suspicious activity by contacting merchants, reviewing documentation and liaising with card‑issuing banks.
- Capture and hold funds according to guidelines, and recommend reserve releases where appropriate.
- Process electronic funds transfers and wire payments for merchants as needed.
- Coordinate with the Investigations Team to gather information on fraud cases and ensure timely action.
- Educate merchants on policies and procedures to prevent financial losses.
Required profile
- Graduate (any discipline) with 2‑4 years of relevant experience.
- Immediate to 15 days notice period.
- Flexible to work any shift in a full‑time, onsite setting.
- International experience is mandatory.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the RiskNet fraud monitoring platform.
