Patient Care Coordinator – Mumbai

About the role

The Patient Care Coordinator supports and manages Patient Support Programs, ensuring patients receive timely, compassionate assistance throughout their treatment journey. Acting as a trusted advocate, the coordinator removes barriers to care and helps expand access to medical benefits globally.

Key responsibilities

• Assist line manager and program team in managing Patient Support Programs and liaise with key stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate patient files and ensure timely enrollment of eligible patients.
• Educate and coordinate with patients to facilitate seamless enrollment aligned with program procedures.
• Accompany team members on visits to healthcare providers, pharmacies, or support sites to support implementation.
• Ensure patients receive their medications efficiently and without delay.
• Prepare regular reports on program performance, patient numbers, services provided, and quality metrics.
• Maintain and update electronic records related to patient data and quality assurance.
• Report adverse events or product complaints in line with client requirements and Axios SOPs.
• Utilize Axios’ Patient Management System for all program activities.
• Perform administrative duties related to program operations and general office support.

Required profile

• A degree or diploma in a medical field or social work.
• 0‑1 year of experience in healthcare, scientific field, or NGO.
• Experience in data monitoring and management is an advantage.
• Strong adaptability, dependability, and teamwork orientation.
