Part‑time Driver & Rides Coordinator (Portland)

About the role

ITNPortland is seeking a reliable part‑time Driver and Rides Coordinator to support older adults and people with disabilities in the Greater Portland area. You will split your time between safely transporting passengers and handling ride‑scheduling calls.

Key responsibilities

• Provide door‑to‑door rides for seniors and disabled passengers within 15 miles of downtown Portland.
• Assist passengers with boarding, secure them in the vehicle, and transport packages as needed.
• Answer phone calls on Thursday, Friday and Saturday as the first point of contact for members.
• Schedule rides, coordinate with volunteer and paid drivers, and manage basic office tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and follow safety protocols.

Required profile

• Clean driving record and ability to pass criminal and driving‑record background checks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional telephone etiquette.
• Energetic, flexible, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and collaborative.
